PartyBob is designed to organize a shared song queue with as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what information the PartyBob iOS application and website process and why.

Information we process

• Device identifier: a randomly generated identifier used to recognize your device and restore your current party.
• Display name: the name you choose so other people in the party can identify your requests.
• Party content: party name, join code, participant order, song requests, song status, and related timestamps.
• Technical information: standard server logs such as request time, IP address, and error information may be processed to keep the service secure and reliable.

How we use information

We use this information only to create and join parties, synchronize the queue between participants, restore an active party, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain the service.

Sharing

Your display name and song requests are visible to other people who join the same party. PartyBob does not sell personal information and does not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking SDKs.

Retention

Party data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and maintain the service, resolve technical issues, and meet legal obligations. You can end or leave a party in the app. To request deletion of information associated with your device, contact us.

Children

PartyBob is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. Information may be processed on servers outside your country; by using PartyBob, you understand that privacy laws may differ between jurisdictions.

Your choices

You may change your display name, leave a party, or stop using PartyBob at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, or delete your information.

Changes

We may update this policy as PartyBob develops. The effective date at the top of this page will show the latest revision.
